Microsoft Excel 3B: Work Schedule: Copying, Moving Worksheets

Weekly Schedules:

• Often there are situations where certain people have the ability to close a restaurant, or others can only work on certain days.
• As a manager you must ensure that everyone gets a certain number of days off as well.

Split shifts are when someone works for a few hours in the morning and comes back to work a few hours in the evening. Few people like working split shifts as it makes it difficult to do anything else in the day.

Skills for Managers:

If you are working at a business that still does work schedules by hand and you were able to create a spreadsheet that saved the business time and money you would be utilizing the computer skills that you have learned in a management capacity.

In this assignment you are responsible for creating a schedule for an entire week of shifts. Each day has a different budget and by watching for the "x" at the bottom of the schedule you can ensure that you are fulfilling the budgeted time.

Note: for this assignment you do not have to schedule the cheapest worker for the most hours as you did for the Monday sheet.
