Overview

  • A Report to Shareholders is given out to the shareholder's of a company at least once a year to describe how the company has done.
    • There are lots of charts and graphs in a report showing how the company has performed.
    • Also included in a Report to Shareholder's are the companies Balance Sheet and Income Statement that was covered in the previous section of Excel assignments.
    • You are going to create a Report to Shareholders.
  • Think of a company (or make one up) that you would like to be the president of that might get so large that shares of it are sold on the stock market.
    • You will find a logo using clip art or from the Internet for this company.
    • Think of a brief description of the history of the company.
    • You will create a chart that shows the increase in the price of this company over a period of time in this assignment and explains it.
    • You will create a chart showing the market share that your company has in the overall market, think of other companies that would be your competitors.
    • You will create a multiple bar chart showing the sales of different regions or departments of your business over a period of time.
    • You will make a prediction of future sales based on a linear growth model for several months or years of all or one of your companies departments or regions.
    • In addition to the above a copy of the companie's balance sheet and income statement would be included.
