Charts and Graphs :

• Charts present information in tables, which you are familiar with.
• Graphs show the information in the form of a pie, bar chart or line chart.
• Pie charts are most suitable when you are looking at parts of a whole (eg. sales of the top 5 fast food restaurants).
• Line and bar charts are most suitable for information over time (eg. sales for one restaurant for 12 months).
• Multiple bar charts are great for combining the above (eg. the sales of 2 different restaurantes over a 12 month period).
