Microsoft Access 1C: Creating Forms

Creating Forms:

  • Forms have the same information as tables however they are in a "nicer format".
  • The table below presents all the same information as a table (FirstName, LastName, Grade, Homeroom etc.).
  • You can also put logos and photos in forms as shown below.
  • You can also:
    • add titles,
    • change the background color,
    • add lines (to separate sections),
    • change field size, font and, and
    • change the labels that appear before the fields in a form.

More About Microsoft Access:

  • Relational databases are made with programs other than Microsoft Access as well.
  • A relational database made using a program other than Microsoft Access will also have tables, queries, reports and forms.
  • The advantages of using Microsoft Access are:
    • It is very common in small business (part of the Microsoft Office Professional Edition).
    • It is relatively easy to use compared to other "relational database" programs.
